Owakudani Crater-Day 4,Part 4

16th March 2012

Took the Mount Fuji for the second attempt as wasn't quite satisfied with the first.

Along with the tourists, climbed up to view Owakudani crater. It was quite a distance.
The smoke which we saw earlier from below at Gora station.
The altitude reads 1050M.
Thick smoke at the back despite the cold weather.
What about this, our family photo?
We purchased the black eggs too. Initially wanted to buy 3 nos but not allowed as it comes in packet. 5 nos for 500 yen.
This man was about to take the boiled eggs out from the hot boiling water.
Eggs taken and he's moving it to the shop and some will be put on the rail for shops down the alley.
Kuro-Tamago, Black Egg.
The shell looked black but inner side remains the same.
Even the york.
Looked behind and we had walked far from the buildings up here.
Never imagine that I can walked this far.
During holidaying, required lots of walking.
Time for family shot before we made our way down.
Walking down was not as tiring as going up.
Nice scenery and it's PS's turn to take charge of the camera.
We walked and we walked.....
Japan's famous pancakes.
PS found her toy, Domo.
It's Hello Kitty with the black egg.
Another egg too.
We returned from the area full of smokes, left on the shops heading for the next destination, Togendai.
