From Nikko to Tokyo-Day 3,Part 7

15th March 2012

Last minute, we stopped by the famous bridge a.k.a Shinkyo bridge since our discounted tickets were available as many times per day.

The scenery was superb.
The Japanese tea served was of high quality. Very satisfying indeed.
PS's lunch which cost 1050 yen.
Mine and to be exact, three of us shared two bowl of noodles.
When HB reread the Nikko brochures in the hotel room, we came to realize that the restaurant which we ate for lunch was a recommended one for it's tangible cultural asset.
The clock reads 14:20 hours when we were back at the Tobu Nikko Station.
Without any delay, PS and I walked straight into the station. It was freezing cold outside.
HB remained outside to snap the beautiful scenery.Notice the mountains covered with snow.
And here, much clearer view.
Sat among tourists and locals to kill the time.
PS sat at another corner by herself.
Time ups and I was boarding the train back to Tokyo.
Tobu Nikko Station's altitude is 538Meter .
Tokyo Skytree was seen from afar, soon be reaching the station.
Section Rapid Line slowed down when crossed the Sumida river.
We revisited Nakamise street on our way from the railway station. The shops were closing and a handful of tourists left.
It was in total darkness at 18:16 hours.
There were less than 10 souls at the Kaminarimon Gate.
Back at the subway.Exchanged lines again.
