SKPU2-Majlis Dialog Ibubapa 2010

Majlis Dialog Ibubapa ( Parents Dialogue Ceremony) was held in Dewan A, SKPU2 on 23rd January, 2010. It was between 9a.m till 12noon.The respond towards it was overwhelming. It was meant for the Year 6 parents to discuss onto the progress on students academic and others.Upon reaching, parents were needed to register their names and an agenda will be given on spot

Nearing the end of ceremony, Puan Sabariah Rashid added in some of her opinions. Everyone were invited for refreshment when the ceremony ended on the dot.

Kokurikulum (Co-curriculum) 2010,SKPU2

20th January, 2010

Today is the first day of SKPU2 (Sekolah Kebangsaan Puchong Utama 2) Co-curriculum in 2010. School dismissed at ten minutes past one in the afternoon. Some transporter might not be able to ferry certain kids from and back to school again in such a short period. The curriculum starts at 3pm till 6pm on every Wednesday. Hence, majority pupils which are living far from school choose to stay back in school. But those staying in walking distance will invite friends back to their house for a shower.PS is one of those lucky ones, able to go home, have home cook meal for lunch and shower.

PS walks the above road till the end and crosses the road where the school is located.The distance is only 200m.

David Foster and Friends

Hit Man David Foster and Friends started in October last year. Apparently as I was shopping in One Utama, Speedy outlet happened to play the DVD as the latest released. As far as I could recalled, it's been more than ten years that I've been a fan of David Foster. Been doing lots of downloading but everyone seems to fail until yesterday.

David Foster is famed musical showman,producer and songwriter.

Oprah protege's Charice Pempengco 17years old was one of the artist in David Foster and Friends. Her singing was terrific for her age.

Third Monday of School in 2010

January 18th 2010

Time really flies. It is the third Monday of school in this new decade. No more late nights or holidays and everything has to be taken seriously now. In order to be alert and more attentive, PS tuck into bed in between half past eight to nine nightly. I will then follow suits.PS's morning routine is waking up at six in the morning, dress up, breakfast and by 7a.m, she's ready to go to school. The sky is still dark at 7am in the month of January.

PS is ready to leave the house at 7 o'clock in the morning.It is dark at this hour.

The distance from my house to school is only 200metres therefore PS walks to school. Killing two birds in one stone, besides getting the freshest air, it is also a good morning exercise for the both of us.Reaching the school at five minutes past seven in the morning is consider early by realizing the darkness of it.
A piece of advice to all students out there. Study Hard and make your parents proud.

Christmas 2009

You better watch out, you better not cry, Santa Claus is coming to town. Oh yeah, Christmas is at the corner. The best time of the year. 3 things that I've always like about December. It's the holidays> vacation, my wedding anniversary and Christmas.

Let's start the blog off by the mom and daughter pix.

The real meaning of Christmas is sharing and giving rather than just receiving presents.

PS loves Christmas too, receiving gifts of course and the beautiful decorations, LOL.
The decoration is good enough to create the Christmas mood.
What an enormous Christmas gift? What have you got for me as my present, hehehe!
No knowledge of wrapping after purchasing gifts. Well, there's a free wrapping service provided.

Growing Up in different stages

When I became a mom to my 4 years old daughter in the year of 2002, knowledge of Barney, the imagination friend for the kids needed to be known.Followed by other characters like Elmo, Ernie, Rubber Duckling and Cookie Monster showed in Sesame Street. Not forgetting a show which was called 'Teletubbies' too. PS's liking changed to Barbie Dolls in her later age.By the end of her Primary 3, I've packed up all of her Polly Dolls and the Disney Characters into the build- in wardrobe as souvenirs.

Starting from 2008, PS managed to get HB to purchase Morgirl's bag and T-Shirt. Because of the daily usage therefore PS's handbag gave way. On Nov 27th ( Hari Raya Haji), we were at Sunway Pyramid after eating the famous Prawn Mee in Paramount Garden. PS took HB and I to three different shops in Sunway Pyramid selling the same items bearing different brands. I didn't know about these shops until PS made it known to me.

GIRLS was the first shop that we went into. After spending 5 mins there, we walked out from the shop due to the over-rated price.

Sasha was another shop selling the same items. Because the discount given in Sasha's shop was only 10% hence PS decided to replace her handbag from Morgirl's shop
This is Morgirl and it's having sales on that day. The discount is from 10% -50%. More customers are seen in Morgirl compared to the two shops.

Accessories were purchase to add to PS's liking. Another 50% item @ RM6.90

Could it be the monsoon rain?

Last Thursday, Nov 12th 2009, as PS and I were doing our daily revision , suddenly loud thunder was heard from the living hall.It had been raining daily for fortnight but we never imagined that the rain was worst than cats and dogs.

I got so frightful of the loud thunder and without hesitating , switch off the broadband and other electrical appliances. The rain on that day looked like monsoon rain with strong wind blowing .

Somehow, I felt safe knowing that at least PS and I were at home under a shelter rather than being wet.Home Sweet Home!
Due to the heavy rain, there were massive traffic jam .

SKPU2 Co Curiculum Celebration

It was exactly a week and a day ago ie 7th November 2009 that I've accompanied PS to her school. Sekolah Kebangsaan Puchong Utama 2 (SKPU2) was celebrating it's Co Curiculum's Day for the last time in the year of 2009.

PS and her classmate, Athirah were in charge of selling titbits for collection of fund for their Kelab Doktor Muda aka Young Doctors Club.
Many other activities were organised on that day. One of them was the Jumble Sales by the Year Six students before leaving SKPU2 for the secondary school in 2010.
Another activities which caught my camera was the cooking competition which was held in the bicycle park.
So sorry that though there was an exhibition shown by the Kelab Doktor Muda but had forgotten to snap pix of it.
All of these pupils are getting ready for the signal from the teacher in charge to start the puzzle competition. PS signed up for it too.
PS and Athirah were trying hard to figure out what's the next piece to fit in.
C'mon PS and Athirah, it's almost there to the finishing line.
Finally, after the long awaited moments, both of them got the puzzled being fix as one for Strawberry Short cake, phew.....
PS and Athirah took the opportunity to snap with one of the teacher too.
Not missing out the parent and teacher shot for rememberance since the year is coming to an end.
Lots of prizes to be given out for winners of the day.
Closing ceremony plus prize giving session. Pupils are excited to wait for their names being called out.
