Jakarta,Indonesia. Day 3(Part1)

22nd October 2010

From China Town, felt exhausted and intended to return to our hotel room to rest. Had to regain our strength back before walking out for dinner at the newly opened Grand Indonesia Shopping Town.

Plenty of time before dark, traffic were still congested from the view of my hotel room.
The Grand Indonesia Shopping Town looked so cleaned and large.
First thing first, we landed at the Special Satay aka Sate Khas stall as part of the dishes.
Apart from satay, the above were the food we ate for dinner too.
I had two pieces of tuna crispy pizza. Not having much appetite and tired.
From PS image, she was having a great time enjoying the Indonesian food and beverages.
Classy food court goes well with the name of Grand Indonesia Shopping Town.
Hubby finished his last dish of that night by eating Telor Kapal Selam aka submarine egg. Something unique to us.
One of the plenty shops found in Grand Indonesia Shopping Town.
Musical fountain on scheduled time for performance.
Live band and singer with sweet voice and entertaining evening.
PS wishing all nations V I C T O R Y.
Don't forget to bring home one of the above for your loved ones.
Beautiful night view.
PS and I simply enjoyed to dine and shop here.
Remembrance for being here, great place.
Me too. I liked to do my shopping here . Cleaned and classy.
Saying Goodnight from Grand Indonesia Shopping Town.

Bandung,Indonesia:- Day 2(Part2)

21st October 2010

Freshed and shined, we marched to the restaurant to have breakfast. The variety of food was not as much and good as in Malaysia hotels. Only a comparison and be thankful for the food we have always.
Behind the scene was the hotel swimming pool.
All packed and ready. Waiting for the appointed cab driver to bring us to volcanic mountain and around Bandung.
Nice scenery on the way.
Locals on horses going uphill.
Welcome to Taman Wisata Alam, toll area for tourists, driver and vehicle.Hubby made payment for all.
Brochures given as part of explanation of the area.
Yes, this is it!! The peak point of Gunung Tangkuban Parahu a.k.a Overturned Boat Mountain.
Needed the shot as remembrance for being here.
Great! the crater looked so amazing. Can't let go my eyes from it.
Having to view it with own eyes will fascinates you.
Hubby posed for his own photo session.
Rows of souvenir shops along the way.
PS was kind to take shots of hubby and I.
Another shot of the crater before leaving the place.
Smoke can be seen coming out from the volcanic mountain, strong smell of sulphur too.
From the other side of the view.
Narrow road to travel back to Bandung town. The air is fresh and clean.
Bandung school.
Had travelled quite a distance from the mountain.
The cab driver drove us to another factory outlet, The Summit.
Gedung sate as it's similarity to the stick of sate.
Most popular landmark in Bandung, Indonesia.
Of course, hubby was remembered to be in the photo session too.
Warung nasi Ampera a.k.a Ampera Rice stall.
Cab driver recommended Warung nasi Ampera, the sundanese food for our lunch. The tourist recommended area.
The sundanese food, tasted delicious.
In time to purchase the well known tarts and another chocolate moist cake (sorry forgot to take photo of the moist cake). Some people said that it a must to buy. Puchasing done and we headed for the train station to Jakarta.

Bandung/Jakarta, Indonesia:- Day 2(Part1)

21st October 2010

Bad news from the train ticketing counter. Train was being delayed due to some derailment and therefore we took the alternative choice by sharing cab with other passengers to Jakarta.
Giant hypermart can easily be found in Bandung, Indonesia.
Many rural area are found in Jakarta city in this era.
Booked the smart hotel a.k.a budget hotel as our stay in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The hotel room was very satisfying and clean too.
Simple reception. Although no hotel restaurant but box breakfast will be send to guest's room each morning on the selective choices made by guest.
The space saver room, not bad for a budget hotel. RM106 per night.
The toilet might look cramp, no complain for a budget hotel, right?
It was raining outside thus I decided to have our dinner at the Japanese restaurant located at the same level as the hotel reception. Less hassle and no rain.
Before the Japanese food was being served.
Japanese way of dining, no chairs.
Before we called it a day , here's the night view from my hotel room. Goodnight.
