It was still fresh on my mind that UPSR aka Malaysia Primary School Examination was over a month ago and we were going off for holidays again. Yup, the long booked holidays since 2009 had reached it's date. Travelling dates from 20th until 24th October 2010.

Bandung,Indonesia,Day 1(Part 1)

20th October 2010

Wow, the bus journey was indeed long. Though using the highway but the bus had no power to travel uphill and it really slow down the whole journey. Having to see many sedan passed by from behind made me ponder upon using my own car in Malaysia. The bus stopped for 10 minutes at the rest area, being awarded the best for continuous 3years.

"SELAMAT DATANG DI KOTA BANDUNG", bumper to bumper traffic with heavy downpour was the welcoming sign.Flash flood was also part of the traffic congestion.
We wasted no more time but to fill our poor empty stomach to regain strength when we claimed luggages from the bus.
Something unique caught my eyes while looking for food, selling es durian a.k.a durian ice. I placed order to have a try.
It's not any durian paste or flavour but real durian with ice. For durian lovers, it tasted good.
The hotel which was booked online by hubby i.e. Mutiara Hotel @ RM165 per night.
The room in Mutiara Hotel looked simple. Would you like to join me for a cup of coffee?
View taken from my hotel room, also facing the swimming pool.
We walked to the train station from the hotel. Not far, only 10 minutes.
Hubby intended to travel by express train from Bandung to Jakarta on 21st October 2010.
Hubby commented that from the bus experience, travelling to Jakarta by express train might do good. The tickets booking were bought a day earlier.
Exit for the passenger through the chrome door. No choice but to linger around the station because of the heavy rain. Finally after negotiating with the cab driver, went shopping without any waste of time.
Hubby and wife posing at Paris van Jawa shopping complex.
Dine in at Solaria restaurant, I ordered fried kueh teow.
PS preferred fried rice because rice would be filling.
Different branded outlets in Paris van Jawa.
Famous among tourists was the branded factory outlet name " Rumah Mode". The second visited complex of the day.
Busy taking shots rather than doing shopping.

Weekly trip to Puteri Mart.

Everyone who lives in Puchong will know the location of Puteri Mart. It is clean and easily to shop for groceries, vegetables, seafood and many more under one roof.

In deep thinking.
Colourful fruits are brightening.
Radishes look so red and cheerful.
Various green vegetables for health.
Green vegetables definitely look green with it's word.
Nice shot, could be use as wallpaper too.

Dinner at IOI Boulevard,Puchong

Hubby, PS and I were nearing the IOI Boulevard thus we headed for the Cone pizza for our dinner that night. First attempt dining in the restaurant and we wanted to give it a try to either recommend friends in the near future or to give comments. The restaurant is along the Rashid Hussain Bank aka RHB .

PS had chosen spaghetti as her meal.
Holding on to the spaghetti before taking the shot.
A real relief in enjoying the first bite.
Different version of spaghetti for hubby.
Lastly the set of cone pizza with tuna topping, a bowl of cream mushroom and toasted bread with cheese spread onto it.
A closer look at the cone pizza. The outer part looked crispy and taste as it.
The restaurant looks clean and quiet. Nice place to dine or meeting.

The Loaf, Bakery and Bistro

I'm sure everyone of us heard about The loaf, bakery and bistro. You got the point. Yup, it's a Japanese style bakery and bistro and is owned by none other than Tun Dr. Mahathir. Now, The Loaf, Bakery and Bistro could be found in IOI Boulevard too. The venue looks clean and quiet from the bustle and hustle life. Also a nice place for chatting and meeting with friend or associates.

Ample parking are found at the basement. The Loaf taken from far.
The clean and nice surroundings.
